Winthrop Days Celebration
June 17 & 18
Annual Winthrop Days Celebration is held every summer, during Father’s Day weekend.
The events planned for Friday night are Girls Little League Softball Tournament, “Light it Up” 5 K Walk/Run. Activities for Saturday are Ball Tournament, Parade, Inflatables, Dinner, Street Dance and Fabulous Fireworks. Movie in the Park will be at dusk, Friday, June 17.
“SMALL TOWN PRIDE, UNITED WE STAND” is this years parade theme. Parade will begin at 5 PM. Followed by activities in the park.
New this year: Parade Contest. Two divisions Overall & Best Theme, $25 entry fee for contest. Cash prize awarded. There is NO CHARGE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE. Only if you would like to enter the contest. For more information contact Jayme Beyer at 563-920-2580.
Antique Tractor Pull will be June 18 at 10 AM.
Annual Winthrop 5K Run/Walk “Small Town Pride” will be Friday evening, June 17 at 7:30 PM. New this year will be a “KIDS RUN” at 7 PM.
